This category contains research focused on familial transfers of wealth from one generation to the next, such as inheritances and inter vivos gifts, as well as more broadly the impact of familial wealth on life outcomes. While some of this research is also included in the Taxes on Wealth category, this category deals with intergenerational wealth itself rather than its taxation.
